Governor declares a special session. Water Bill? It's not specifically mentioned, but ...

after the specific list of 12 budget items, the proclamation goes on to say that the legislature shall consider solutions to "reduce government spending" and that the Governor can consider other business "as I may call" for during the session.

Here's the quote:

"During the Special Session, the Legislature shall consider solutions to reduce state government spending. The Legislature may also consider any other legislative business as I may call to the attention of the Legislature while in session."

Bottom Line: Contact your legislators. SNWA's agenda is NOT a state emergency.
